I did Competent Crew and Day Skipper theory and practical with them and loved it. For the theory there was lots of repetition and mnemonics so even my tired brain remembered it. The on ship training was a great introduction to sailing, the trainer was firm where needed for the safety of the vessel but kind and patient besides that, making sure we took managing the boat seriously, knew how to keep the boat and people on it safe and enjoyed the time spent at sea. It was great learning from people that obviously know it inside out and have infectious enthusiasm for it. The location is outstanding too and the value for money, don't think you'll find a better option

I booked the competent crew sailing course with the Sailing School Malta a couple of times and each time it was very enjoyable! Also booking conditions were flexible especially now during the pandemic and it was such a great experience with the instructor Mathew. Even starting with some basic sailing knowledge he trained the crew in a short time so it was possible to try out quite a few things and also get some day skipper practice.

I can't recommend Sailing School Malta enough!  Great instructors and experience.  Provided a much needed boost to my confidence and competence as a sailer, which was why I set out to do my Day Skipper.  Couldn't have asked for better people to do it with!  Loved the boat too!  Thanks Sailing School Malta!

This school is worth five stars because everything from enquiry to course delivery were great. After getting my Malta Nautical Licence with Sailing School Malta. I decided to continue my sail practical training with this School. Stephen really well explained the contents of the Day Skipper Theory course and always added his personal experience to deepen the topics and make it more interesting and fun. It has been a fantastic week! Look forward to the practical course next week. Many thanks!
